York Chapter is proud to present its 4th Breakfast Meeting.
The objective of this meeting is to bring our members together with their elected
representatives to learn about topics of importance to the engineering community.
Our guest for this session is the Hon. Bryon Wilfert who will be speaking on development and infrastructure funding from a national perspective.
Bryon has been a Member of Parliament since 1997 and was a member of Richmond Hill council for 12 years prior to his initial election. During his terms in Ottawa, he has gained extensive experience in National Defence and international affairs. Bryon was appointed as a member of the Prime Minister's Task Force on Urban Issues in 2003 and was recently appointed Chair of the Liberal party’s Urban Communities Caucus. Bryon will be able to share with us his extensive knowledge on the issues related to development and infrastructure funding.
